Today we set out on an acclimatization hike above Namche, and it didn't disappoint. The skies were clear and we were rewarded with our first stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Seeing those giants for the first time from this vantage point was surreal.
On the way back, we passed through the Sherpa village of Khumjung, perched at 12,500 feet. We took a moment to visit the Khumjung Monastery-peaceful, quiet, and humbling. The descent brought even more jaw-dropping views, with Namche laid out below us.
It's hard to describe the scale and beauty of this place.
